Reuse means to use items as many times as possible before discarding them. Recycle means to turn waste into new products. By adopting these three Rs, we can significantly cut down the amount of waste we generate.
Another solution is composting. Organic waste like fruit peels, vegetable scraps, and leaves can be turned into compost, a nutrient-rich soil enhancer that is great for gardening. This not only reduces the amount of waste going into our landfills, but also benefits our gardens and parks.
