Equality is like a rainbow. What makes a rainbow beautiful? It’s the different colors, all shining together. Just like a rainbow, our world is beautiful because of the variety of people who live in it.
Equality means treating everyone the same way. It doesn’t matter if you’re tall or short, rich or poor, a boy or a girl. Everyone should have the same chances to learn, to play, to work and to be happy. This is the first color of our rainbow.
But equality is not just about treating everyone the same. It’s also about understanding that we are all different. Some people may need extra help to do certain things. For example, a person in a wheelchair might need a ramp to enter a building. Giving them that extra help is also a part of equality. This is the second color of our rainbow.
Sometimes, people are treated unfairly because of their color, religion, or where they come from. This is not right. Everyone should be respected and valued for who they are. This is the third color of our rainbow.
Lastly, remember, equality starts with you. You can make a difference by being kind and fair to everyone you meet. Stand up when you see someone being treated unfairly. Together, we can make our world a beautiful rainbow of equality. This is the final color of our rainbow.

But we know that’s not true. Every color is special, every person is special. This is called ‘respect equality’.
In a game of soccer, everyone follows the same rules. It doesn’t matter who you are, the rules are the same for all. In life, the rules should be the same too. No one should be above the law, and no one should be below it. This is called ‘justice equality’.
Equality is not just a word, it is a bridge. It connects us all, makes us stronger as a team. Like a rainbow that brightens up the sky after a storm, equality can brighten up our world. But it’s up to us to make it happen.
