Ramon Magsaysay Award Indian Winners List (till 2019)

Ramon Magsaysay Award is awarded in the honour of the former president of the Philippines named Ramon Magsaysay.

The prize was first established in April 1957 by the New York city-based trust named Rockefeller Brothers Fund with the help of the Philippines government.

Ramon Magsaysay Award is often called the Nobel Prize of Asia. It is the highest award given to someone in Asia. Many Indians have been awarded by this honour till now.

    Mr.Ravish Kumar stayed with us in our home stay facility at Murud Janjira this Diwali festival. Who never told me that he is Ramon Magsaysay award winner; neither I said that I know about him.     I noted the name of 58 people from the above list, who they are the proud Indians and won the Raman Magsaysay Award, known as the Asian Nobel Prize and I feel so proud to be an Indian. With the emerging leadership of those people, we are heading towards a emerging economy.
